Grand shot and angle...love the use of b & w which adds an eerie quality to the work...

Thank you so much! And I definitely agree, this shot didn't look nearly as creepy in color =p

Very welcome Rachel...b & w can bring out certain looks that color does not...or at least I think so...

I have had people ask me if I am depressed or sad because of my use of b & w on the majority of my pics...and it's simply a matter of personal style and enjoyment of contrasts...

Oh wow. I would never assume someone was sad or depressed b/c they use black and white. Black and white creates a whole different mood and evokes a completely different emotion than in a color photo. I think your work is awesome!

I can imagine! People obviously just aren't getting the feeling/point of your black and white work. Their loss. =p And my pleasure, just speaking the truth. :)

I love the b&w here, definitely good call, it increases the contrast and me eyes just love it, but is it me or the sky are over-exposed?

Thanks so much! And even in the color version there isn't much color in the sky. I tried to adjust the levels and add a little bit of gray and I don't know, it just didn't really "wow" me as much as this picture. But I would love your opinion, if you don't mind... This is the version with a bit more gray.

Of course I don't mind Rachel, I always like viewing your work :)to be honest, I prefer the grayer version, it maintains the high level of contrast while looking more natural than this one. Then again, it's just my opinion :)

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your opinion. I think I will update it with the grayer version. That was the only thing I was worried about was losing some of the contrast, but you're absolutely right, there is still a very good amount of contrast in the picture. Thank you again! :D

It's always nice to have an outside opinion, especially on things you're on the fence about. And as great as your work is, I will definitely take your suggestions/opinions seriously :D :iconsqueezehugplz:

that looks badass in B&W; good call.

The contrast on the brick with the white sky/background. Fantastic.
Good move getting a 3/4 shot so you can show the depth. (Sometimes B&W shots don't yield depth too well.)

Keep it up DD!

:woohoo: Thanks so much! I always like to try and get at least one shot to show the depth, makes for better composition in my opinion. Thank you so much, as always, for your comments!

was this your inspiration? [link] Seriously good shot ;) Almost kinda has a old western feel to it like a ghost town type feel.
